1. Acceptance of Terms

By using ShopXpress, you accept these Terms. You must be at least 18 years old. You agree to comply with this agreement and all applicable Nigerian and international laws. If you don't agree, please don't use our platform.

2. Account Registration

You agree to:

  • • Provide accurate, complete information
  • • Maintain only ONE personal account
  • • Keep your password confidential
  • • Notify us immediately of unauthorized access
  • • Be responsible for all activity under your account

3. Ordering & Purchasing

Orders are binding offers. ShopXpress reserves the right to:

  • • Cancel orders due to pricing errors
  • • Cancel orders due to insufficient inventory
  • • Cancel orders suspected of fraud
  • • Issue full refunds if we cancel

4. Pricing & Payments

  • 💱 All prices in local currency
  • 💰 Taxes and fees disclosed at checkout
  • 🔒 Payment required before fulfillment
  • 🛡️ PCI-DSS Level 1 certified processors only
  • 💳 Multiple payment methods accepted

5. Returns & Refunds

7-Day Return Window:

  • ✓ Items must be unused/undamaged in original packaging
  • ✓ Defective items always returnable
  • ✓ Free return pickup provided
  • ✓ Refund within 5-10 business days

Non-Returnable Items: Perishables, digital goods, personalized items, intimate apparel

6. Prohibited Activities

You must NOT:

  • 🚫 Engage in fraud or deception
  • 🚫 Post false or defamatory reviews
  • 🚫 Reverse-engineer or scrape our platform
  • 🚫 Infringe on intellectual property rights
  • 🚫 Circumvent security measures
  • 🚫 Use bots or automated tools
  • 🚫 Sell counterfeit or illegal products

Violations result in account suspension or termination.

7. Intellectual Property

All platform content (logos, design, code, text, trademarks) is protected under Nigerian and international copyright law. Unauthorized reproduction is prohibited.

8. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by Scottish law. Disputes are resolved through:

  1. 1. Good-faith negotiation (14 days)
  2. 2. Binding arbitration in Glasgow (Arbitration Act 1996)
